El candidato de Cambiemos, Uriel Brupbacher, se impuso por un margen importante sobre Sergio Schmunck (Frente Justicialista) y Susana Demartín (UNA-Frente Renovador). El Contador se transformó en el nuevo Intendente para los próximos 4 años en el gobierno comunal de Viale, mientras que su co-equiper de fórmula, Luis Pérez, será el Presidente del Concejo Deliberante
